Edition 21.2 : Silence

Published in two parts, हाकारा । hākārā’s 21st edition looks at the breadth of possibilities contained within the theme of ‘Silence’. Here, silence is quietude, calmness, stillness and speechlessness: it is the absence of sound. Silence can be self-willed, externally enforced, manipulative or simply a matter of habit. Finally, silence is a reminder of the vastness of human experience, which cannot ever be fully articulated through language.
